At The Gift Anchor, we take great pride in the quality and curation of our items. If your purchase is not quite right, we are here to help you navigate the return process.
30-Day Return Window
We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with all original tags attached, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Non-Returnable Items & Exceptions
To maintain our quality standards, certain items cannot be returned:

Custom & Personalized Gifts: Any item featuring custom engravings, monograms, or bespoke modifications is unique to you and is Final Sale.

Perishable & Personal Care Goods: For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on food, flowers, candles, or beauty products.

Special Finds: Items purchased on sale or via gift cards are non-returnable.
- High-Sensitivity & Optical Pieces: Due to the delicate nature of these precision-crafted surfaces, which are highly susceptible to handling and environmental elements, these selections are excluded from our standard 30-day return window. This policy ensures that every customer receives a guaranteed untouched, museum-quality item.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at concierge@thegiftanchor.com.
Once your return is accepted, we will provide you with the return address and instructions. Please note the following:

Shipping Costs: To keep our boutique prices sustainable for all customers, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.

Tracking: We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit back to our warehouse.

Unauthorized Returns: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Exchanges
The most efficient way to ensure you get the item you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted and processed, you may make a separate purchase for the new item. This ensures your new selection reaches you as quickly as possible.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order immediately upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours. This allows us to evaluate the issue and make it right promptly.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
